I don't know if it is sheer reluctance or ignorance ,but,whenever i utter these words("Sachin is uncomparable to others"),i always face strong resistance from my counter arguers.They seem to show me stiff resistance,and i always end up, being unreasonable and resolve to totally rude tactics ,thrashing my opponents POV.I don't know if i seem to be a sachin chauvinist to others,but even then i don't find it wrong being one..

In this post i am going to give you all some links that i found in youtube,kindly,take time to see all of them.Hope my emotions get transferred to you as well.

It is really HARD to be SACHIN ,rite??Not being able to go for a stroll in the morning,not being able to shop at his will,not able to go with his family to a park and play with his kids...With 100 thousand pair of eyes watching your every move on the ground,cheering up each and every single move you make,with each and every one wanting you to make century each and every time you are out there....ITS A MAMOOTH PRESSURE...

But sachin has survived everything ,he has adopted to every single change around him..Mr.Charles Darvin was right when he said "ONLY THE FITTEST AND THE BEST SURVIVE"..Sachin has survived 18 years of cricketing life till now and is still going on strong...So its obviously true when everyone says "He Is The Best".Rite??

Gambhir on the other hand is having a wonderful series,with two hundreds in his pocket,today here again he showed his class batting and went on to take a superb 63.

Sachin's 39th century

Sir Sachin tendulkar has scored his 39th test century at the Adelaide ,in the first day of the 4th test match of the Border Gavaskar trophy.This century is a sensational one,because this test match COULD be sachin's last test match in Australia.Also ,sachin has a very poor track record at the Adelaide scoring only some 60 odd runs in 6 matches,so expectations were high on him to go for the biggie,and there you go ,124 not out and still playing,this is awesome.

This is his playcard today:

This century in particular is a glorious one ,he has hit this one in his usual style,blasting away ,not giving the opponents a minute to settle down.Sachin today just took two balls to reach his century from the 90s .First he hit a huge six and then he goes for a boundry,wow...what a game play....2008 is already proving to be his best year with 2 centuries already in his count.I watched a youtube video on his shots today,he sure seems to be back in his usual original form,THE BLASTING ONE....

'SIR' TITLE TO SACHIN TENDULKAR???

Sir sachin ramesh tendulkar???will this happen??

For those of you who don't seem to get what iam talking about here is the news,British Prime Minister Mr.Gordon Brown has expressed his wishes to entitle sachin tendulkar gi with the honorary title of "SIR".He has been said to have said these exact words--"I would like to see some of the great players of the modern era like Sachin Tendulkar proposed for honorary awards so the British nation can salute their achievements in these sports."

If sachin gi gets entitled with the title he would become the first Indian sportsperson to attain the sports knighthood.

Sachin gi would then join the group of legends like Sir Don Bradman , Sir Gary Sobers,Sir Edmund Hillary to be entitled with the same title.This news sure does fill my heart with countless joy,i'am sure that you all sachin(if not sachin fan ,atleast as an Indian you should be proud) fans out there feel the same.

I am really fortunate to be living in a period where i get to see this legend in live action.To me sachin definitely is THE GOD of modern day cricket.

SACHIN THE GOD

The only consolation for the Indian team after getting back stabbed by the Australian cricket world was the class of its kind centuries by v.v.s.laxman and the master Sachin .Sachin's century came in the right time,at the start of a new year coz the last year (2007) was not so good for him,coz he missed nearly 6 centuries getting out in his 90's.

I was not one of those fortunate flock of people to have had the chance to watch "THE GOD" play,that's because of the stupid cable system here in Chennai which prohibits these channels from being telecasted.I was watching the first test match from ma comp,i had even posted the link TO WATCH CRICKET FROM YOUR COMP in one of my posts.But the past week my xp got crashed ,and i had to be without my comp for almost 4 days.
So when i heard that GOD had hit 154* and stayed unbeaten,i desperately wanted to watch his shots,as usual my next stop was you tube.Where i found this video .Here it is for you.

I also got the following link.I guess some spectator has taken it,just watch sachin play from this angle.He is purely a SUPER COMPUTER.Look at how Quickly he reacts to a 150km/hr ball and punishes it to the boundary,a sheer beauty.

I missed these live actions for sure.But i am contend with the fact that the master has finally broken his so called pattern to get out in the 90's. Kudos master,we love you.Keep going

What are the things which the Indians can boast about??

ANS:

1) their rich culture

2) heritage

3) huge population(considering anything u have in huge numbers is something to boast of-well in that category it would also include huge amounts of aids patient)

4) abundant natural resources


5) and ya ,of course SACHIN TENDULKAR


It is said that out of every 7 babies born in the world 1 is Indian....and out of every 5 Indian babies born after the year 1989(that's when sachin made his debut as an cricketer) 4 of them are sachin fans.....

This is the kind of fan base that sachin has ...not only in India ,all around the world people praise him and hail him as "THE LITTLE MASTER"....
Sir Donald Bradman ,the legendary cricketer has quoted in his autobiography that ," I was most taken in by Tendulkar's technique, compactness and his shot production "(source: wikipedia)

I always used to refuse the fact that class cricketers can predict the kind of delivery to be bowled by a bowler by just watching their hands....I mean,come on,how can some human have such a good reaction time to look into the hands of a bowler within just a fraction of seconds and decide his shots... don't joke.....
well, i was totally dumbstruck when i watched a video from youtube (which was a excerpt from a ESPN programme video on sachin)....phsycologists say that sachin is such a class of an batsmen that he can "predict the delivery even before the bowler takes his run up to bowl the ball"
how cool is that .....unbelievable is it???have a glimpse at this video:

well,i also read about sachin in the wikipedia ...i found some interesting facts about him....here they are at your disposal:

1) Tendulkar is ambidextrous, he bats, bowls and throws with his right hand, but

prefers to write with his left hand. He also practices left-handed throws at the nets on a regular basis.


2) Tendulkar is the only player to score a century while making his Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Irani Trophy debut


3) When he was 14 Indian batting maestro Sunil Gavaskar gave him a pair of his used

ultra light pads. "It was the greatest source of encouragement for me," he said nearly 20 years

later after passing Gavaskar's top world record of 34 Test centuries. Recently he surpassed the

highest number of half centuries scores in ODI cricket held by Inzamam Ul Haq.



4) While at school, he was involved in unbroken 664-run partnership in a Harris Shield

game in 1988 with friend and team mate Vinod Kambli, who also went on to represent India.

The destructive pair reduced one bowler to tears and made the rest of the opposition unwilling

to continue the game. Sachin scored over 320 in this innings and scored over a thousand runs in

the tournament. This was the record partnership in any form of cricket, until 2006 when it was broken by two under-13 batsmen in a match held at Hyderabad in India



5) When Sachin was young, he would practice for hours on the ground with his coach.

He would often get bored of practising. So his coach used to put a one-Rupee-coin on the top of

the stumps. the bowler who dismissed Sachin would get the coin. If Sachin passed the whole

session without getting dismissed, the coach would give him the coin. Sachin says even today that those 13 coins are his most prized possessions.

centuries in Test Cricket, automotive giant Ferrari invited Sachin Tendulkar to its paddock in

Silverstone on the eve of the British Grand Prix (23 July 2002) to receive a Ferrari 360

Modena from the legendary F1 racer Michael Schumacher. On September 4, 2002 India's

then finance minister Jaswant Singh wrote to Sachin telling him that the government will waive

custom's duty imposed on the car as a measure to applaud his feat. However the rules at

the time stated that the customs duty can be waived only when receiving an automobile as a

prize and not as a gift. It is claimed that the proposals to change the law (Customs Act) was put

forth in Financial Bill in February 2003 and amended was passed as a law in May 2003.

Subsequently the Ferrari was allowed to be brought to India without payment of the customs

duty (Rs 1.13 Crores or 120% on the car value of Rs 75 Lakhs). When the move to waive

customs duty became public in July 2003, political and social activists protested the waiver

and filed PIL in the Delhi High Court. With the controversy snowballing, Sachin offered to pay

the customs duty and the tab was finally picked up by Ferrari. Tendulkar has been seen taking his Ferrari 360 Modena for late-night drives in Mumbai.
